Barn Loft - Full Loft Shown
Description: Standard construction of our horse barn loft. We use 3/4" T&G plywood decking and 2x10 SPF floor joists 16" o.c. to build our lofts.
The roof in this horse barn is built with 2x8 SPF rafters and knee wall headers in mid-span for extra snow load support. Building the roof with rafters gives you a full hay loft and more space for hay storage.
