Pros & Cons of a Monitor Horse Barn
- Pros:
- Slightly more affordable than Loft Barn (not always though)
- Faster on site assembly (compared to Loft Barns)
- Cons:
- Not recommended for horses over 16+ hands
- More difficult to sell property to owners of large horses
- Lean-to can not be added without barn modification
- Loft is limited to over center aisle only
- Stairway placement inside of the aisle (hinged stairway)
- Yellow Pine wall framing
- Only 8'-2" of headroom under loft (after finished floor)
