Our Run In Sheds come in many different styles. We offer sheds with just a single bay (run-in) or you can also order the horse shed with multiple run-ins. As an option, you may add a storage room or a stall to any of our run-in sheds. The storage room may be placed at either end of the shed or in the center as shown. To enhance the beauty of your run-in shed you may add the cupola with a weathervane and have the shed stained with the color of your choice. You will also find that its easier to work direct with the manufacturer when different options and different customizations are required.
Run In Shed Standard Construction:
- Rough-cut "true dimensional" Oak framing (4x4 posts with 2x4 girts & braces)
- 1x8x48" rough-cut oak kickboards
- White pine board & batten siding
- 2x4 SPF rafters 16" on centers
- #15 felt paper underlayment (see why felt paper is important)
- 30 year dimensional asphalt shingles
- Pressure treated 6x6 sill plates with tow hook in each corner
- Top oak wind braces
Run In Shed Interior
As most of other builders, we use rough-cut oak materials for framing and kickboards. From the distance you will not see much of the difference between our sheds and most others you will find on the market. But at the closer inspection, you will see that we enhance all of our sheds with true dimensional framing lumber, top wind braces, felt underlayment and 30 year architectural shingles. All of these standard features translate into a nicer looking and a heavier built structure.
